1.  Pre- task

       (2) Sound families: al, ay, ar, air, a, e, I, o, u.

2.  While - task

(1) Listen to the teacher try to spell the new words:  ride, skate

     ride a bike.

（2）Present pictures and sentences.

        Match the pictures with the sentences in pairs.

 (3) Check their answers.

 (4)  ask a student to read the sentences, and then explain very well, well, quite well, not very, not at all.

 (5)  Underline these words in the sentences.  

 (6)  Whole class read the sentences.

 (7)  Work with language 2.
